A charitable hospital in the name "M.K. Haji Orphanage Hospital" was started by the Committee on 24th February 1996. It was named after Janab M.K. Haji Sahib, the founder General Secretary of the Tirurangadi Muslim Orphanage Committee, who has left indelible impress in society by making remarkable contributions to the service of humanity through the dedication of his time, wealth and energy for the upkeep of the poor and downtrodden. He was so passionately and earnestly fond of the orphans that their welfare was his mission and his message. The establishment of an orphanage was indeed his bold step, urged by his firm faith in the infinite grace of the Almighty Allah, towards the manifestation of his vision. It won't be an exaggeration to state that Tirurangadi Yatheem Khana, the pivot of the cultural conglomeration at Saudabad, is the child of M.K. Haji Sabib, who has done amazingly for his community especially for the orphans and destitute far more than what could have been done by anyone else in a life's span.

It was his intense desire to have a hospital under the committee for providing better medical treatment primarily to orphan inmates of Tirurangadi Yatheem Khana and also to poor sections of society.

The hospital functions in beautiful multi-storeyed buildings with massive dome at the top of the main building, accommodating various departments such as General Medicine, General Surgery, Gynaecology, Pulmonology, Urology, Neurology Cardiology, Psychiatry, Gastro-enterology, Audiogram, Physiotherapy, Speech and Hearing Therapy, E.N.T., Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, , Dermatology, , Clinical Psychology, etc.

The facilities such as Computerised Pharmacy, Computerised Clinical Laboratory, Microbiology Laboratory, X-ray, ECG, Ultra sound Scanning, Tread Mill Test, Echo Test, Endoscopy, Laparoscopy and 5 well equipped operation theatres, Labour room, NICU, ICU, Accident care unit are also provided at the hospital.

There is a good team of medical staff comprising the Chief Medical Officer, 25 specialist doctors, 2 Resident Medical Officers, 102 experienced and service minded nurses so as to ensure the smooth functioning of the hospital. There is office staff of 22 members headed by an Administrative Officer to supervise the day to day affairs of the hospital. There are 17 technicians working in the laboratories. X-ray and ECG and 16 members on the pharmacy staff. Besides, there are 6 members on security staff, 4 electricians, 4 drivers, 10 ward boys and 25 workers for sanitation.
